The Lancashire Dead Good Poets’ Society consists of wordsmiths from across the Fylde coast. They count amongst their numbers, award winning performance poets, acclaimed story tellers, published authors, English language lecturers, creative writing tutors and professional reviewers.

They meet once a month to host an open mic event, encouraging amateur writers at various levels of experience to perform their work alongside established scribes. With a common theme for everyone to
tackle, each open mic evening is full of high quality and very different approaches that excite the non-performing audience members as much as the fellow poets.

Alongside these events the group run workshops to help writers develop their skills and produce better work. It is the intention of the Lancashire Dead Good Poets’ Society to continue helping writers of any age and any experience to develop their talents.
